About Us

We are a specialist service provider, offering a fully integrated General Liability and Motor Claims Management and Investigation service to insurance companies, solicitors and self-insured entities.

The company was formed in 2013 after identifying an opportunity in the market for the specialist investigation of general liability and motor claims. In 2015 we launched a claims management and claims handling service to complement our existing investigation service.


We are currently the appointed independent Liability Adjusters for the second largest syndicate in Lloyds.

We are deeply committed to delivering value and customer excellence, which was validated by our being awarded Service Provider of the year at the Glanbia Business Awards in November 2016.

We offer you a full claims management and handling service, as well as investigation only, risk management and audits of external service providers. We are an extension of your brand and always ensure that your customers are treated with respect, empathy and the attention they deserve during their time of need. We provide practical feedback to your commercial clients with regard to how they can further eliminate or reduce potential hazards.  Our specialist areas include Public Liability, Employers’ Liability, Products Liability, Professional Indemnity and Motor Claims.


Claims Investigation

Every investigation conducted by Core Claims Services includes a statement from the insured, statements from witnesses, detailed inspection of the accident locus, locus photographs, CCTV analysis and a detailed investigative report, which includes supporting evidence.

Claims Management

Claims are managed from their initiation right through to their completion by our expert team. Our team has wide-ranging experience in settlement negotiation from early, direct settlements right through to High Court level.

Claims Handling

Our team is equipped to handle overflow workload from insurers and self-insurers that have experienced an unexpected increase in incident/claims notifications. This service is tailored to our clients’ requirements.


Who are we?

Our Team

Cora Hennessy
Cora (BBS, Dip QMS, Dip LA) has worked in claims management for 11 years. Her specialist areas are liability and motor claims and managing self-insured clients. She graduated from University of Limerick with a Business Degree, where she majored in Human Resource Management. Cora worked in this field for a number of years, where two of her main areas of expertise were Health & Safety and Training. She has just completed a specialist Diploma in Lean Management Systems in University of Limerick (Black Belt certified), where she utilized her knowledge of lean principles to streamline our work processes and client service offering. Liam Ryan
Liam’s introduction to liability claims handling and management was in 2004 as a desk-based claims handler. In 2005 he moved into the area of field investigation and has continued on that course as a Loss Adjuster. Liam has a Business Degree from Waterford Institute of Technology and holds the ACII, MDI and Cdip LA qualifications. Liam was recipient of the Gladstone Shield in 2014 for outstanding achievements in the Insurance Institute of Ireland MDI examinations and of the Montgomery Cup for outstanding achievements in the ACII examinations in 2015. Richie Harvey
Richie has worked in the claims management for the past 10 years as a Loss Adjuster. During this time he has worked in all areas of claims, including motor, fleet, property and liability. Richie has extensive experience in dealing with commercial liability and motor claims. He has managed and negotiated settlements on a direct settlement basis right through to complex injury claims at High Court level. He has knowledge in the agriculture sector having lived on and advised on the running of the family farm. Richie has a Degree in Property Valuation Surveying & Management from Limerick Institute of Technology. He is Cdip LA qualified and is currently working towards the ACII qualification. James Dunlop
Loss Adjuster
James has worked in the general insurance industry in Ireland for the past 8 years. During this time, he has worked in the private motor, commercial fleet and commercial liability sectors, managing claims-handling teams for insurers and as a loss adjuster. James has considerable experience managing claims from initial notification and settlement, through to litigation hearing stage. James has a degree from University College Cardiff in Classics and completed the Management Diploma in Insurance in 2015. He is currently working towards the ACII qualification.
